10facts You Can’t Get Anywhere Else
Guess what? I was browsing for info about cars (since I’m planning to get a secong-hand one) and I just found out that the Volvo S70 uses the same sheet metal like Volvo S60 and the grilles and front bumpers are actually just slightly varied. However, the dashboard and most of the interior parts are the same in both cars.
Why the sudden mention about cars? Well, I really am an auto junkie, although I may not sound or looked like one. I like to compare and contrast the car models, I also find it interesting to learn more about the history of a car’s production. Such as the designer’s inspiration or what new breaking technology has been used to build the car. Basically things you don’t find in the regular motor trading magazines because they tend to give you only one side of the story. In any case, I think it’s also good to do a bit of background checking on cars so I can get an idea of what features suit my preference, and wallet, best.
For example, did you know that the Volvo S50 was designed by Jan Wilsgaard? (Wilsgaard was the Chief Designer at Volvo Cars from 1950 to 1990) or the fact that the Volvo S40 won the Canadian Car of the Year in 2005 for Best New Sport Compact Award?
